A New Year Birth – At Home Farm Hursley!
It was lovely to have a New Year birth here at Home Farm Hursley with one of our heifers, Derrimut Barley giving birth to a bull calf on 2nd January. He’s from our stock bull Meonhill Highland Beau and despite the weather both heifer and calf are doing well.
Southern Beef Shorthorn – Great success
David, Fin and Curly went along to the Southern Beef Shorthorn Club Christmas lunch on Sunday and received the results of the “Large Herd Competition” which was judged earlier in the year and I’m pleased to say we won 4 classes and came second overall in our group!
